Employment
LHCCC believes that happy teachers make happy classrooms! We employee mainly full-time teachers and staff, but we try to be very accommodating of everyone's hectic schedules. Full-time staff have access to health and dental benefits (LHCCC pays 80%), PTO, tuition reimbursement, childcare discounts, and paid holidays and school closures.
All staff must pass a background check, complete required orientation training, keep up to date with monthly and yearly training, and be Pediatric First Aid and CPR certified.

Teachers and Directors are mandated reporters and required to make a report if they have reason to believe that a child has been maltreated. Mandated reporting training is completed by all staff once a year.

Additional trainings include (but are not limited to): Emergency Preparedness, Risk Reduction, Allergies and Illness, Medication Administration, Child Development and Learning, Cultural Dynamics, Disabilities, and AHT/SUID. We also encourage staff to find trainings that interest them and complete those throughout the year.
Full-Time staff are required to complete 24 Continuing Education Hours a year. Part-Time staff are required to complete 12 Continuing Education Hours a year.
