Tours
We would love to show you around our school! Tours are typically fifteen to twenty minutes long. Normally, we schedule tours between 10AM-3PM, but let us know if those times do not work for your family.
During tours, you will have a chance to sit down and talk with the director and/or assistant director who will go over basic policies and information. After that, we will tour the building and you will have a chance to get a glimpse of a normal day at LHCCC.
Due to safety reasons and time constraints, all tours must be scheduled in advance. The best way to schedule a tour is via email.
A tour does not guarantee a spot in a classroom or on the waitlist.
Waitlists
If we do not currently have space at LHCCC for your child, we are more than happy to put you on our waitlist. There is no fee for being on the waitlist. The only information we need to add you to our waitlist is your child's name, birthdate, and desired start date.
Though we will do our best to fill any openings on a first come, first served basis, we often must fill openings based on birthdates in order to ensure classrooms stay in ratio and below capacity. We do give priority to currently enrolled and registered families and families that qualify for CCAP or our scholarship and sliding fee scale.
At times, our waitlists may be closed in order to ensure we are able to keep track of all families currently seeking a spot. Typically, this only happens in our infant and toddler rooms. In the event this happens, it is best to check out website for any updates.
A spot on the waitlist does not guarantee a future spot at LHCCC.
Enrollment
We try to make enrollment and your family's transition to LHCCC as easy as possible! In order to secure an open spot, you must completely fill out a registration form and submit a nonrefundable registration fee ($100+first week's tuition).
Before your child's first day, you must submit the registration packet as well as their health care summary and immunization records.
Especially for infant families, it is a great idea to schedule a time prior to your first day to come in and meet the teachers. Please contact the office in order to do this as we can set up a time for you to not only see the classroom, but also speak to your child's teachers and ask them any questions you may have.
First days can be hard! It is a big change for everyone involved. As such, we try to be as flexible as possible as everyone transitions to the change. For some families, this means partial days to start and gradually increasing their child's attendance until they are at their normal schedule. Often, we will plan for this but then have the option to call or message you if things are going really well. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you and your family out at any time!
